From seeing the world with her parents to making new friends abroad, Leading Stewardess Ng Yu Hsuan’s role as a cabin crew is a childhood dream come true
“As a cabin crew member, Yu Hsuan has travelled far and wide. Her parents also enjoy complimentary travel once a year as part of her staff benefit. “Travelling with my parents has been a highlight of my career, making all of the challenges and hard work of this job worthwhile,” she says. “It has been incredibly rewarding to be able to show them new cultures, sights and experiences. And it has been so enjoyable to see their faces light up with wonder and excitement as they discover new places.”
One of her favourite memories is visiting Utah’s national parks with her family. “I was so proud of my parents for hiking to the top of the Arches despite their advanced age. Whether it was hiking through canyons, watching the sunset over Bryce Canyon’s hoodoos or taking scenic drives, they were captivated by a sense of adventure,” she recalls. “I will be eternally grateful for the incredible gift of seeing the world through their eyes, and creating wonderful memories with them.”

Salary: €2,445.55 gross per month (full-time incl. 72 block hours & a flight allowance)

Tasks
Your smile takes flight with us. As a Cabin Crew Member, you and your crew ensure our guests feel welcome and start their vacation relaxed. A holiday atmosphere arises naturally on board – through small talk and tips that make the journey even more enjoyable.
Your day starts with a briefing: You'll receive all the information about the flight, crew, and preparation – so you can have a perfect and safe start.
Before takeoff, you conduct security checks and prepare the cabin for our guests.
During boarding, you bring ease to the journey: You welcome passengers, provide orientation, and help where needed.
In the air, you and your crew create attentive service and genuine moments of well-being.
You present onboard shop items in a charming way and make the onboard experience even more special.
As a Eurowings ambassador, you embody our values with team spirit, warmth and enthusiasm.
When things get turbulent, you stay calm, find solutions, and provide security.
Your application process at Eurowings
Application: We will review your documents based on our requirements.
AI Interview: In the AI-supported video interview, you answer questions about yourself and your motivation in German and English.
Selection day: On site we will get to know each other personally and gather further impressions of one another.
Requirements
You identify with our brand, approach people openly and friendly, and have at least a secondary school leaving certificate – alternatively, a lower secondary school leaving certificate with experience in the service sector. You also bring the following:
You are at least 18 years old and at least 1.60 m tall.
You possess excellent written and spoken German and English skills (at least at level B2).
Your passport is valid without restrictions and for at least another 18 months.
Your health is good and you are fully fit to fly.
Your visual acuity is a maximum of ± 5 diopters.
You are a confident swimmer and can therefore swim at least 100 meters briskly without interruption.
When on call, you can reach your station location within 60 minutes.
Reliable internet access is available.
You are ready to get vaccinated according to the WHO recommendations.
A strong service orientation is one of your strengths.
You have a confident demeanor and a well-groomed appearance.
