More than 120 Job Positions Open – airBaltic Continues Growth and Recruitment

The Latvian national airline airBaltic announces its ongoing recruitment, reflecting the company’s commitment to growth, with more than 120 positions in total throughout various departments, including Cabin Crew, Pilots, Technicians, and others.

Currently, airBaltic offers 60 available positions for Cabin Crew – 40 in Riga and 20 in Tallinn. Furthermore, airBaltic is hiring First Officers and Senior First Officers (with a fast track command) on Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Additionally, in airBaltic’s Technical department, there are 17 open vacancies such as Aircraft Mechanic with aviation background, Aircraft Certifying Technician (B1 or B2) and others.

“Furthermore, last month we launched the airBaltic Technical Academy, which will be the leading training initiative for individuals who wish to start or advance their careers in aircraft maintenance. With this initiative, we aim to provide students with a high-level education that will be beneficial for their future careers and will bring a significant contribution to the Latvian education development,” Aronberga added.

Last month, the airline launched its Technical Academy. The academy is now accepting applications till July 1, 2024 for its three specialized programs – RTU airBaltic Program, LVT airBaltic Program and Mechanics Program – in collaboration with Riga Technical University, Liepaja State Technical School, and the exclusive airBaltic Mechanics program, respectively.

Meanwhile, the widely known airBaltic Pilot Academy is accepting applicants. Currently, there are 136 active students, the majority of whom are from the Baltic countries, although there are also students from other EU countries. Overall, more than 10% of airBaltic Pilot Academy students are female. As for now, 99 students, after graduating, have joined the airline.
