Meet Holly the Aplomado Falcon, Frontier Airlines new tail
This new tail is a nod to Holly Beach in Texas where Holly symbolizes the fight for endangered species and vital habitats. Despite being endangered, Aplomado Falcons stretch their wings from the U.S. to Argentina. We’re excited to represent these falcons on our newest plane!
This medium-sized raptor boasts a distinctive square head, long tail, and pointed wings. Often found hunting in pairs, these falcons perch together and engage in midair food exchanges. This new tail is named after Holly Beach in southern Texas. Holly Beach is part of the larger conservation effort by The Conservation Fund and USFWS to connect critical migration corridors and coastal habitats for other wildlife to ensure climate resiliency and recreational and economic opportunities.
Frontier is dedicated to bringing awareness to the endangered animals within the continental U.S.A. You can learn more about our endangered animal tails here.
