Your Role: As a Cabin Crew Member at Aer Lingus, you will be the face of our airline, delivering outstanding service and care to our customers. You will be operating on our busy transatlantic and short-haul services.
Your duties will include:
· Safety First: Ensuring the safety and well-being of customers and maintaining the highest safety standards by carrying out your duties in line with company policies/procedures and in accordance with the Aer Lingus Operations Manuals and regulatory requirements.
● Exceptional Customer Service: Consistently provide excellent customer service onboard creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring we retain and improve on our 4-star Airline Status* Skytrax Awarded.Part of your customer service duties will involve delivering excellent in-flight retail and duty-free experience, serving meals and beverages, and handling special dietary requirements with care and attention.
Problem Solving: Handling customer queries, resolving issues, and making every effort to meet and surpass the customers’ needs and preferences.
Teamwork: Collaborating closely with your fellow Cabin Crew Members and Flight Crew to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

A competitive Cabin Crew Member basic salary of €28,833.26 (Gross) plus variable pay of, on average, €6500 p.a. (Gross). Applicable allowances when overnighting on duties away from base.

Requirements
Minimum age of 18 years.
Eligible to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction (i.e. EU Passport Holder or valid non-EEA Citizen holding Stamp 4)
Must be able to apply for and obtain relevant US immigration/entry visas* which is a pre-requisite for the role (for travel to/from the United States).
Hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel.
12 months combined experience in a customer service/sales role. Preferably this experience will have been in a face-to-face customer setting.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written*. Please note that our training course is highly academic and will only be conducted through English.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on demonstrating empathy and understanding, building rapport with customers, and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with your customers and colleagues.
Flexibility and adaptability to working shifts, unsociable hours, weekends, holidays and overnights.
You will be required to complete a height and reach assessment based on our aircraft types as part of the recruitment process.
Must adhere to our uniform policy and guidelines. Tattoos/piercings must NOT be visible whilst in any item of the Aer Lingus uniform.
Able to pass an airport security vetting procedure, including a five-year background check.

If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from those countries.

Requirements
You identify with our brand, approach people openly and friendly, and have at least a secondary school leaving certificate – alternatively, a lower secondary school leaving certificate with experience in the service sector. You also bring the following:
You are at least 18 years old and at least 1.60 m tall.
You possess excellent written and spoken German and English skills (at least at level B2).
Your passport is valid without restrictions and for at least another 18 months.
Your health is good and you are fully fit to fly.
Your visual acuity is a maximum of ± 5 diopters.
You are a confident swimmer and can therefore swim at least 100 meters briskly without interruption.
When on call, you can reach your station location within 60 minutes.
Reliable internet access is available.
You are ready to get vaccinated according to the WHO recommendations.
A strong service orientation is one of your strengths.
You have a confident demeanor and a well-groomed appearance.
