Experienced Cabin Crew member Steven, has worked in the industry for a decade, but has been a valued Eastern Airways Cabin Crew member for a year now

Based at Aberdeen Airport, Steven talks about his love of the role.

“I enjoy meeting different people from all walks of life and flying to different destinations, whist ensuring safety is a priority.

I’ve always had a keen interest in aircraft from a young age.
On my first flight many years ago I was really inspired by the crew operating the flight, so I decided to apply for cabin crew jobs and was lucky enough to get a job as solo cabin crew – which I love the most.

I have also previously worked on the ground in airport security, aircraft presentation and delivery of catering to private jets based at Dundee airport.
Aberdeen is a great city with so much history. If you love the countryside then you will find some really lovely scenery around Aberdeenshire, so many Castles, hills including Bennachie – both beautiful in the summer and winter.

Wick has amazing views from the air and on a clear sunny day you can see for miles including the east Caithness cliffs.
Caithness has the most amazing beaches around the costal parts and it’s well worth a visit!”
