Air Tahiti Nui new Comfort Kit made from sustainable materials
Air Tahiti Nui presents its new comfort kit, designed for passengers traveling in Poerava Business Class. Decorated with patterns evoking Polynesian tattoos, this kit, inspired by The Islands of Tahiti, welcomes travelers from the moment their journey begins. It contains a complete set of accessories made from recycled and recyclable materials, reflecting the airline’s commitment to the environment.
The new Air Tahiti Nui Poerava Business Travel Kit is now available on board Tahitian Dreamliners. The accessories included in this set feature local products and eco-friendly materials (FSC-certified paper, bamboo fiber, and recycled materials), carefully selected in line with Air Tahiti Nui’s CSR policy to limit single-use plastics on board its aircraft.
The Poerava Business comfort kit is available in two colors: beige, evoking the white sandy beaches of our islands, and navy blue, inspired by the deep waters of the Pacific Ocean. It includes:
A reusable toiletry bag made from recycled polyurethane
A pair of socks and an adjustable sleep mask made from bamboo fiber and R-PET (recycled packaging)
A set of three moisturizing products by Heiva: face cream, hand cream, and lip balm
A bamboo toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste
Noise-canceling earplugs
An FSC-certified paper pen
The packaging designed for the dental kit and earplugs is also made from FSC-certified paper.
The Poerava Business comfort kit is fully aligned with Air Tahiti Nui’s unique travel experience.
Polynesian patterns decorate the toiletry bag, mask, and socks, while products from local brand Heiva fill the air with the delicate fragrance of Tahitian Tiare flowers. As soon as they open their comfort kit, Air Tahiti Nui passengers are gently immersed in the atmosphere of The Islands of Tahiti.
This new comfort kit replaces and enhances the former Poerava Business kit, twice awarded at the TravelPlus Awards at the time of its launch, particularly in the “Ethically Sustainable Kit” category. Air Tahiti Nui is now committed to renewing its environmental engagement by incorporating more responsible materials into its kits and accessories.
