About us

Since 1978, Air Inuit has been much more than an airline—it’s a vital link. Born from the vision and resilience of the Inuit of Nunavik, and proudly owned by the Makivik Corporation, Air Inuit connects communities across the vast and beautiful territory of Northern Quebec and beyond. Air Inuit aircraft have flown in some of the world’s most demanding skies—24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

From the versatile Twin Otter to the powerful Boeing 737-800NG, a fleet of more than 35 aircraft carries not only passengers and cargo, but also stories, hopes, and essential services for the people of Nunavik. Behind every flight is a team of more than 1,200 dedicated professionals, all committed to a common mission: to operate with safety, reliability, and heart. Air Inuit is more than just transportation. It’s a symbol of self-determination, a bridge between tradition and progress, and proof of what’s possible when a community takes flight together.
