“These are particularly trying times for United Airlines and their 100,000 employees as they try to navigate this crisis like all of us,” says Brian Greene, president and CEO of Houston Food Bank. “But I do know how United and its team members are selflessly stepping up to help their neighbors, setting up a packing operation at their cargo center and even doing no-contact deliveries to reach households that must stay quarantined for their safety and the safety of others. This assistance they are giving to serve the most vulnerable population during this pandemic is amazing. United is a dedicated and important partner of the Houston Food Bank, and we will not forget this generosity.”
Beyond the distribution centers, United team members are working to find additional items to donate to first responders and those impacted by COVID-19.
